Personal Injury / Accidents
Stirling Law has extensive experience handling personal injury cases. We don't just settle cases; we fight and litigate cases. Stirling Law offers representation for clients for all kinds of accident types and injuries. These personal injuries include, but are not limited to, motor vehicle, motorcycle, pedestrian accidents, defective products, near death injuries, lifetime care injuries, severe burns, wrongful death and loss of limb, dog and animal attacks, spinal cord and brain damage injuries, all forms of negligent injuries as well as insurance bad faith. We provide free consultations, home and hospital visits, and immediate doctor referrals.
On personal injury cases we do not take a fee until we have settled or win your injury case.* Robert Stirling is a litigator-real attorney that will go to court and get substantial results. The fact that Stirling Law is a litigation firm is advantageous to our clients in helping resolve cases and obtain higher settlements. Insurance companies know we don't roll over and accept low offers that non-litigating attorneys may accept. The insurance companies know we mean business. These results include money for pain and suffering, long term disabilities, past and present medical bills, lost wages, loss of consortium as well as rental car bills and repairs. Contingency Fees
We are willing to reduce our fees in order to settle cases and we do this on a regular basis. We match other attorneys' retainer fees with a showing of their contingency fee agreement. Most of the low contingency fee advertisements are deceptive scams. They are a bait and switch, and are designed to get the client in the door by promising a low fee. However, in many cases the retainer agreement provides the low contingency fee and only applies for the first 90 to 120 days after sign up. Then the fee jumps up to a standard and/or an exorbitant fee if it is not settled during that time. It is our experience that most personal injury cases do not settle during the first three to four months.
Furthermore these cases should not be settled as the client is usually continuing medical treatment with their doctor during that time. It would be a big mistake to settle your claim before treatment is completed or until the full prognosis of your injuries has been determined by the treating medical provider.
If you have been injured in an accident, do not give a recorded statement to the insurance company and contact The Law Office of Robert J. Stirling at (916) 851-5909 to protect your rights.
