Cost of Bankruptcy

One of the most frequently asked questions about filing a Bankruptcy is how much will it cost:

Most of our chapter seven Bankruptcies cost $1200.00* for a single person filing.  Joint filings generally are $1500.00.*  Our competitors will charge in the upwards of $2000.00 - $2500.00 for the same or less service.  Don't get caught in this trap.

Generally our price for a chapter 13 filing is $1900.00* for a single person filing and 2200.00* for a joint person filing.  Don't get swindled into paying in the upwards of $3000.00 for a chapter 13 filing.

All of the above fees include the filing fee that ranges from $250.00 - $299.00.

* Prices are for the cost of filing and services involved in consultations, preparing the petition, attending the creditors meeting, and securing an uncontested discharge. Prices do not include fees for services related to adversarial or contested proceedings. Contact our office for a schedule of those fees.
